1. Introduction & Scope
Welcome to BatteryTech ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our online portal, store visits, product purchases, and mobile technician services across Coimbatore and surrounding districts in Tamil Nadu. By browsing our catalog, placing an order, booking a service, or purchasing a battery/UPS system, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Product Authenticity & Manufacturer Warranty
All automotive, inverter, solar, and industrial batteries sold by BatteryTech are 100% factory-fresh and sourced directly through authorized national brand channels including Amaron, Exide, Luminous, Microtek, SF Sonic, and Tata Green.
- Each battery comes accompanied by an official manufacturer warranty card and a GST invoice.
- Warranty coverage (free replacement + pro-rata warranty period) is provided and governed directly by the respective manufacturer's nationwide service policies.
- Physical casing damage, melted terminals resulting from loose connections by unauthorized third parties, overcharging by faulty external chargers, or application mismatches may void warranty terms as stipulated by manufacturer guidelines.
3. Doorstep Delivery & Professional Installation
We offer guaranteed express 60-minute doorstep delivery and certified fitment within our designated Coimbatore delivery zones (including TVS Nagar, Koundampalayam, RS Puram, Gandhipuram, Peelamedu, Saibaba Colony, Saravanampatti, etc.):
- Delivery timeframes are subject to prevailing traffic, severe weather conditions, and customer availability at the specified delivery coordinates.
- Free installation is provided for standard automotive and inverter placements. Complex electrical re-wiring, custom wall mount fabrication, or commercial battery banks may incur additional labor charges quoted upfront before service execution.
4. Old Scrap Battery Exchange Terms
When you select the "With Old Battery Exchange" discount option:
- The old battery must be of equivalent type and ampere-hour (Ah) capacity as specified in your purchase agreement.
- The scrap battery must be handed over to our delivery technician at the time of new battery installation.
- If no old battery is provided, or if the provided battery has significantly lower Ah capacity than quoted, the discount difference must be settled immediately via cash/UPI before completion of delivery.
5. Invoicing, Pricing & Taxes
All listed product and service prices on BatteryTech are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). A valid computer-generated GST tax invoice is issued upon order confirmation and delivery.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with purchases or services from BatteryTech shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
